It is with heavy hearts and profound sorrow that we announce the passing of a beloved husband, father, grandfather, pastor, and spiritual leader, Christopher Subbarao Palli. He departed from this world on December 28, 2023, leaving behind a legacy of love, faith, and inspiration.
Christopher was born on August 24, 1951, in Maredubaka, India. He dedicated his life to serving others and spreading the teachings of love, compassion, and faith. Christopher was a devoted Baptist Christian pastor, and his ministry touched the lives of many. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and a Master’s degree in Psychology, a testament to his commitment to understanding and helping people on both spiritual and psychological levels.
As a pillar of the Atlanta United Telugu Church and the Atlanta Telugu Christ-Hava Samavesam, Christopher played a crucial role in fostering a community that embraced the values of unity and faith. His leadership inspired growth in faith and touched the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him.
Christopher’s impact extended beyond the church walls. He was a loving and devoted family man who made his home a haven of warmth and care. His wife, Margaret Palli, shared a deep and enduring bond with him. Together, they built a family rooted in love and faith. Christopher is survived by his devoted spouse, Margaret, and their three children: Elizabeth Paturi, Peter Palli, and Michael Palli. His legacy also lives on through his sisters, Madhuma Saka and Magnolia Gandi, and the four cherished grandchildren who brought immense joy to his life.
Christopher Subbarao Palli will be remembered not only for his theological wisdom but also for the kindness, compassion, and unwavering love he showered upon his family and community. His memory will forever be a source of pride and awe for those who were fortunate enough to be touched by his presence.
A A visitation will be held from 9:00 – 11:00 AM on Tuesday, January 2nd, 2024, at Grace Snellville, 1400 Dogwood Rd SW, Snellville, GA 30078, with a funeral service to follow. An interment will take place at Gwinnett Memorial Park, 925 Lawrenceville Hwy., Lawrenceville, GA 30046.
